Craig Dellorso, Co-Founder & CEO

Based in Fairfax, Virginia, Craig calls upon 20 plus years of extensive leadership, technology, and operations experience in the association and nonprofit space to provide customers with transformative solutions and guidance. Having worked both in an association and as a vendor to the industry, his blend of experience provides association and nonprofit clients a unique and valuable perspective for success. He has built a reputation of integrity, innovation, and service excellence.

Craig served as the Chief Customer Officer for Abila (formerly Avectra), a provider of association management software. In that role, he oversaw a staff of 120 who were responsible for selling, delivering professional services, training, and customer support of three product lines to more than 1,750 organizations. Prior to that, Craig served in roles as the Chief Information Officer for the National Association of College & University Business Officers (NACUBO), and General Manager, mindSHIFT Technologies.

Craig completed his undergraduate studies at the United States Naval Academy and served 7 years as an active duty Naval Officer. He received his MBA from Marymount University.

Lee Hornstein, Co-Founder

Lee Hornstein has been active in the implementation and support of sophisticated, vertical market application software since 1980. He brings a deep knowledge and understanding of project management processes, membership and fundraising applications, accounting, order fulfillment, customer service, and distribution systems.

Lee is a successful entrepreneur with more than 25 years experience providing specialized software solutions to association and non-profit organizations. He is the CEO of (C) Systems Global - an international provider of software and services for nonprofits including website and engagement management applications, database, event management and cloud hosting services. Lee is also proud board member of The Guide Dog Foundation and America’s Vet Dogs in Smithtown, NY.

Lee is known among his colleagues and peers as a relationship builder. For him, business is personal and his focus on long-term success makes him highly regarded by employees, clients and competitors alike. Lee graduated from the University of Colorado with a BS in Information Systems from the Leeds School of Business in 1979.

Giving Back

As association and nonprofit professionals, we aim to make a lasting difference for our clients and their beneficiaries. We also strive to strengthen our communities and share our expertise in ways that are personal to us and our families.

Sharing Our Expertise

Being active in the communities where we live and serve is important to us -- not just as a company, but also as individuals. Here are some of the ways we provide support (financial and time) to our favorite nonprofits and charitable organizations.

Support Anti-bullying; Help Veterans and First Responders with PTS(D); Help Youth Learn Balance

As part of the biker (motorcycle) community, my partner Steve and I support several nonprofit organizations and rallies in Northern Kentucky and nationally. Two which we support year-round are Bikers Against Bullies USA and Motorcycle Missions.

Bikers Against Bullies (BAB USA) has local chapters nationwide of bikers and non-bikers, “to raise awareness and empower the community to fight the terrible effects of bullying on young people through education, community outreach and fundraising." We have supported the BAB USA and events each year and are very excited that we will join the Ride to the 79th starting in Vermont, and ending in Deadwood, SD. To date over $500,000 has been raised with every penny donated to help empower kids and improving communities.

Motorcycle Missions is "a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Corporation helping Veterans and First Responders with PTS(D) find hope and healing through motorcycle therapy." Independent builders and shops around the country donate their time, knowledge and resources to bring together veterans and first responders suffering from PDS(D) providing therapy through comradery and training on build and maintenance of motorcycles. Each year selected groups build bikes, which are shared by the group then auctioned off to raise funds for the next group of bikes. 

During the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally Steves' Garage, as one of the founding sponsors, started the Builders Breakfast to support this great organization. Motorcycle celebrities donate auction items to raise money for the Mission. Last year Strider Bikes, which is designed to help young kids learn balance, signed on as a continuing sponsor. Steves' Garage, along with 5 other celebrity builders, has been chosen to customize a Strider Bike which will tour with Motorcycle Missions fundraising events and end the season auctioned at a national motorcycle event.

Support Schools; Participate in Boy Scouts; Educate About Congenital Heart Defects

I serve on the Gifted Parents Advisory Council for my 6th grader's school district. Parents of gifted students meet monthly to plan curriculum and special programs and ways to enhance the gifted program and summer programs for these students.

Along with my son, I volunteer time with his local Boy Scout troop doing various fundraising and charity events throughout the year to include working cleanup duty at the Marine Corps Marathon, food drives, community cleanup projects, waffle breakfasts, etc.

This year, I created a team that will join the Adult Congenital Heart Association in the Walk for 1 in 100.  This organization hosts walks in 14 communities across the country to raise money for outreach, education, research and more to empower all of those who were born with a heart defect, their loved ones, and the medical community that cares for them.

Lead Cub Scouts; Foster Pets; Provide Video Games to Hospitals and Shelters

At the start of the school year, I became a Den leader for BSA Cub Scouts (Tigers and now a Wolf member) and I enjoy doing that. We meet about 3 times a month and do various activities. As the weather is getting nicer, we will be doing more hiking and learning outdoors with our first camping overnight in April.

We have also been active with Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets (GRASP). We give our home and time to fostering cats before they find their forever home with their new families. We've done this many times and currently are fostering three kittens and their mother, all of whom will probably be adopted in just a few weeks.

A charity that I give to at least once a year is the Child's Play, a charitable organization started by game enthusiasts to provide video games and systems to children's hospitals and shelters. Each year, the Loading Ready Run Group (a comedy and game content creator out of British Columbia) puts on a marathon of playing Desert Bus (it's called Desert Bus for Hope) for at least a week and getting contributions through that "telethon". I enjoy that time in November.

Lead Athletic Boosters; Support Best Buddies; Support a Food Bank

I serve as the President of the Falls Church High School Athletics Boosters, a 501(c)3, focused on supporting the athletics programs at the High School.  We meet monthly and run fundraisers throughout the year.  We typically raise about $100,000 per year.

As a family, we are heavily involved in the Best Buddies organization. My daughter established a Best Buddies chapter at her school and serves as the president. Best Buddies is a mentoring program where normally developing kids/adults are paired with those with physical or mental disabilities.

We have regularly supported Food for Others, a local food bank, through volunteering. We sort and package food for delivery to local schools for children in need.

Donate Clothes; Raise Funds for the Fire Department; Coach Sports 

We donate children's clothing to the St John the Apostle Giving Tree during the Christmas season. We also contribute to the PJ's drive at St John the Apostle Church. We also do clothing drive with boy scouts. We also participate in fun raising activities for the local fire department during the course of the year.

We also volunteer our time in coaching the track and field/cross country and basketball teams at our school and participate in the yearly fundraisers for athletic association.

Help Research to End Childhood Disease; Honor Military and First Responders

My wife and I donate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which “is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.”

We also support the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation. This organization “honors the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001. They also honor our military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country."

Promote Literacy in Creative Ways   

Asked by Friends of Richard Byrd Library for ideas in building stronger relationships with three neighborhood elementary schools, I created Educators Night. My vision was to make sure teachers from these schools had plenty of books in their classroom libraries. The first year, teachers were invited for an evening of snacks, appreciation, and books. Teachers could select fifteen books for their classrooms. The next year principals were also invited, and in the third year, nearly 100 teachers took over 1,400 books to classroom libraries. The program is now in its sixth year, still going strong, and serves more schools, involves volunteers and fundraising from local organizations, books to local laundromats where kids can read while they wait, and books to Little Free Libraries in apartment complexes near the schools.

Support Community Outreach, Promote Social Justice, Raise Funds for Ant-violence Programming

As members of St. Pauls United Church of Christ, we support various forms of community outreach and social justice. We founded and help maintain St. Pauls House, a nonprofit senior living community providing short-term rehabilitation, residential and healthcare options. The Lincoln Park Community Services helps over 300 adult men and women annually who are experiencing homelessness by providing interim housing, meals, and a targeted array of services.

I have also been on the planning committee for the Polar Peace March, which raises money and awareness for UCAN’s Violence Intervention and Prevention Services. The program “empowers young people to create life-changing opportunities that ensure safer futures.” And I have served on the UCAN Technology Committee.
